Urinary incontinence is the unintentional loss of urine. Stress incontinence is not related to psychological stress and occurs after physical movement or activity — such as coughing, sneezing, running or heavy lifting — , which puts pressure (stress) on the bladder. Stress incontinence is much more common in women than men and develops when the pelvic floor muscles loose their strength. This is usually related to childbirths, obesity, ageing, heavy lifting, previous surgeries and others.

Careful examination and clinical assessment of the severity of urinary incontinence, our experts suggest the following therapeutic approaches.
