VAGINAL TIGHTENING

Vaginal tightening is a reconstructive procedure that restores the pelvic floor when a woman has experienced severe stretching of the tissues and muscles or relaxation of the area, as well as the perineum at the entrance of the vulva.

The relaxation of the area may be due to normal aging process or to childbirth – since often the vagina does not return to its pre-birth state -. The muscles of the area (volvos corrosive) that lift the tissues and maintain elasticity are often subject to a permanent “damage” as the fetus exits the uterus and passes through the vaginal canal. In a normal state, the diameter of the vagina is 2 to 3 centimeters. The diameter of the head of the fetus is 10 centimeters. Therefore, the diameter of the vagina during childbirth becomes 5 times larger. The vaginal relaxation after childbirth is unavoidable. Common complaints in these cases are the loss of elasticity of the vagina, which results in the decrease of pleasure during sexual intercourse, as the sensitivity of the area is reduced.
